Based in southern New Hampshire, I photograph weddings, engagements, and events with a photojournalist's eye — quietly present, always watching. Eight years and hundreds of events have taught me one thing: the best photos happen when you stop posing and start living the day.

What Clients Say

"

Ben made us feel so comfortable. We barely noticed he was there during the ceremony, and the final delivery was perfect. We didn't have to wait forever for images either, which was a huge bonus for us to share our memories.

Ben didn't just take photos and videos — he told the story of our community. He captured the connection, the joy, and the impact of our work in a way that feels authentic and powerful. We will not hesitate to hire him again.

We got our gallery back and honestly had no notes. Every single image was beautiful. Ben just gets it — he was able to capture so many beautiful moments. He understood exactly what we wanted.

Hey — It's nice to meet you.

Ben Flanders, New England wedding and event photographer based in Concord, New Hampshire

Ever since I could reach the cabinet where my mom kept her Canon AE-1, I've been fascinated with cameras. My parents love to bring up, usually at holidays, how I'd always ask to hold the family camcorder whenever it came out. My dad collected National Geographic magazines (some on shelves, some stacked in the bathroom), and I remember sneaking them away whenever I could to study the photos. The ones that stuck with me were always of people. In the spaces they lived, where they worked, with the people they cared about.

That fascination still shapes how I approach every event I cover. I treat each one like a story. From the moment guests arrive through the main event and everything in between, my focus is on being present without interrupting the moments that matter most. At weddings, that means patience. It means the way two people look at each other when they think no one's watching. The moment a parent steps in for that first hug. Friends coming together to celebrate (and absolutely losing it on the dance floor).

I'm based in southern New Hampshire, which puts me right in the middle of New England. I've shot as far south as Connecticut and Rhode Island, as far north as Burlington, Vermont and Maine, and everywhere in between: Boston, Cambridge, Newton, Canton, Groton. Intimate backyard ceremonies, elegant vineyard weddings, large corporate galas, private events. If it's happening in New England, I'll be there. My Junior Editing Assistant, Mr. Pickles, carefully reviews all of my selects in exchange for treats.

The approach.

01
Approach

I work best when I'm invisible. Low-pressure, unobtrusive, and always watching — I move through events like a guest who happens to have a camera. The result is a set of images that feel lived-in, not performed.

02
Style

Clean, true-to-color, and documentary at heart. I'm not chasing moody presets or trending edits — I'm chasing light. Every image I deliver is something you could frame, and something you'll still love in twenty years.

03
Experience

Eight years and hundreds of events across New England. Weddings, engagements, corporate gatherings, arts performances. I've shot in barns, ballrooms, and blizzards. I don't rattle.

Let's work together.

Have a date in mind? I'd love to hear about it.
